To: children of the 1400-1500 blocks of Franklin Ave. From: the crazy old man in the house with the ivy by the school Re: snow removal for the duration of the 2010/2011 winter season
Sorry, kids, I just don’t have it in me anymore. I just can’t bear to face my shovel, or my snowblower, or my 50lb bags of magnesium chloride again this season. I’m through. I give up. Surrender....

But I do remember letting loose a stream of profanity so primal and violent that it reduced the little boy in the back seat to a puddle of tears. Shuddering, heaving sobs.
What a dumb thing to do. I felt...

I've unlocked the secret!
There’s a point where the soul-crushing stress of your days leaves you physically exhausted and your immune system totally compromised. So you get really sick! And then that exhaustion and the illness override the stress-induced insomnia, and you finally get an OK night’s sleep.

Truthful Tuesday
Not a big fan of tumblr crush posts.
The butthertz they make are loud and resonant.
Post Mortem
So, the gig on Saturday was great! We pulled a fantastic and enthusiastic crowd, especially considering the weather. It seemed pretty clear that a good time was had by all.
