I’m not much of a songwriter, but I am lucky to have found good ones to work with over the years. My friend Dean Collins is one of them. He is going through his archives and putting a bunch of older stuff online.
Here are three songs we did over a long weekend in LA in about 1993 for a movie that never got made…they’re pretty good, I think.

Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Coachella, Pitchfork, etc.: I have no desire, nada, to go to any of them. That you can easily get single-spaced text In the tumblr editing window By hitting shift-return instead of return? This is 100x easier than switching into the HTML editor and entering <br>’s all over. Thought I’d share, esp. for those of you who post a lot of lyrics or poetry.

The audio file I posted earlier from JCS is from the movie soundtrack, not the Broadway cast version. The performer is the estimable Ted Neely, not Ian Gillan. It’s no less chill-inducing.
You can hear Ian’s version of Gethsemane here. Just as awesome, and with an English accent just like Jesus had.

The nifty javascript thing at the bottom of pages like twitter and tumblr and facebook which helpfully automatically loads the next page when you scroll to the bottom of the page?
