I use a mixture of LED and incandescent lights on the tree. I like the variety of colors and the different ways they sparkle. I suppose someday it will be impossible to get these old school incandescent bulbs, since that’s how it goes. I’m OK with that, really. I believe in progress.

But when the future comes, the thing I’ll miss is the warmth of the tiny bulbs on my arm as I hang them.
