Not “an historic.”
You wouldn’t say “I bought an history book.” You’d say “I bought a history book.” We put “an” in front of h-words only when the h is silent: an hour, an honest man, an heiress. A hypothesis, a huge wang, a history, landing on Mars is a historic occasion.
