They are driven to exterminate all other life forms but the daleks. They are not open to reason or alteration of this goal. And they talk funny. And that plunger thing on their heads can vaporize anyone.

Right…but they look like they’d be rendered helpless by a 3” curb.

It’s OK, I get the kitsch factor or the homage to old school. And I certainly understand that evil doesn’t necessarily look violent. It just seems that with one of these reboots, some production designer somewhere would outfit them with jets or give them less of a trashcan shape.

OK, now back to my TV that only shows North American sports.
